Compatible with a wide range of sling types, the OT200 Ceiling Hoist is ideal for both adult or pediatric use. It can be installed to the ceiling, wall or on a free-standing gantry and is used in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Hospices, Schools, Changing Places and the Domestic Environment to save time, reduce risk of injury, create space and improve comfort.


The OT200 is designed to offer a modern and attractive option for hoisting. The OT200 is one of the smallest fixed ceiling hoists on the market, giving a subtle and non-obtrusive installation. The OT200 Ceiling Hoist has been widely used as the preferred method for transfer in multiple rooms such as bedrooms, assisted bathrooms, pools and living areas.


The dynamo gravity-powered charging feature provides substantially more charge than a normal charging unit. This allows the OT200 to support well over 150 lifts before needing to be returned to charge, providing carers and users with reliable and dependable equipment that is also kinder to the environment.


The OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist requires no tools (allen keys or screws) to activate the emergency lowering system. With a simple pull cord, the OT200 can be stopped in an instant then allowing the user can to be safely lowered.


Often used in a bedroom for nursing homes, hospitals or domestic homes, the OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist features our ‘no lights at night’ system that when on charge ensures there are no annoying lights to keep the user awake.


The OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist is designed to continue performing in a multi-use environment. A true workhorse, the OT200 is built with steel gears to ensure that time-after-time, it will continue to support both users and carers.


The OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist is designed to be ‘easy to maintain’ ensuring that upon a service or inspection, all but the wheels can be serviced on the rail. This removes the need to dismantle the tracking system on every call out.

Spreader Bar Options

Standard Spreader Bar
Included as standard with the OT200 and OT200R models, the 2 Point Spreader Bar is an easy to use system, allowing users and carers to seamlessly hook looped slings onto either of the points. Spreader bar also comes with padded central bar for additional protection.
Manual Balance Cradle
The Manual Cradle is a self balancing cradle that moves with the body. As the user is hoisted from a reclined position to a seated position, the Manual Cradle naturally follows the user’s movement helping to reduce the risk of skin shear to the user. The Manual Cradle has been designed to provide the carer with a full view of the user offering the carer the chance to remain engaged with the user during the transfer.
Powered Cradle
The Powered Cradle is an assisted cradle powered by an integrated actuator. As the user is hoisted from a reclined position to a seated position, the Powered Cradle moves with the body and the change of angle, helping to reduce the risk of skin shear to the user.
X-Frame Spreader Bar
The X-Frame 4 Point Spreader Bar is designed to spread the users weight across four individual support arm for each corner of the body. Having this feature enables the user to be easily supported without the sling becoming bunched above the users head.
Quick Release System
Compatible with all standard spreader bars, the OT200 Quick Release System allows a no-tools quick change from one spreader bar to another.

Additional Options:

Weigh Scale
The Weigh Scale enables you to weigh the patients during the moving procedure within just a second. Easy to use, simply press upon the 2 buttons to finish the procedure of weighing and receive the accurate result.
Standard Wired Handset
Our Standard Handset has a sprung cord to allow flexibility during use. With a stowing clip, the handset when not in use can simply be hung from the spreader bar.
Infa-red Wireless Handset
As an additional upgrade, we offer the Infa-red Wireless Handcontrol. An easy-to-use, point-and-click- remote; the infa-red handset allows carers and users even more freedom to operate the hoist.
